In other news....

I finally did it. I have started the no thyroid meds in preparation for my scan.

However, I completely chickened out when it came to switching doctors. If it ends up that I still have cancer, I will see the other doctor for a second opinion. Somehow, I can justify it then.

It wouldn't be so bad if my doc wasn't a fellow knitter. I tend to run into her at yarn shops, and while she'd probably forget all about my leaving her care, I would feel extremely awkward.

Although, that may not be a bad strategy. It may force me to stay out of yarn shops, thus keeping more money in the bank account. I'm pretty sure my hubby would be okay with that.

So I'm guessing we need to send you good mail, is that right? :)

Does this mean your presence in blog land may lessen for a while? I hope not. I hope everything goes ok with this preparation, even though you've told us it will be miserable. I hope it's less miserable than the last time.

Well, you added "loud" to my list of compliments. My turn. I'm adding "courageous".

Blessings and best wishes!

E-W - what is this 'good mail' you speak of?

Mrs. O said...

Summer - No, I still be here - but probably less coherently and with spelling errors. It makes you daffy like that.

You're in my thoughts and prayers. --Jan
P.S. send the girls over any time. I have good intentions, I'm usually just a day late, dollar short, whatever.

Jan - thank you

Well, there is that, but I still say YUP! You're talking about several weeks of misery...So just accept the compliment, would ya?!

Good mail is anything that isn't a bill, something that says 'our neighbor at:' or 'resident'. Something that is nice to find in the mailbox.
That being said, I am a horrible good mailer. I abhor the post office!!!
Which is why I said 'we', in hopes I can get other people to send you some good mail because I will fall short of the mark.
