On another note, Ty is doing well and we are still waiting for the doctor's to get over their vacation catch-up work so we can discuss Interferon to treat Ty's tumor. It has not changed in size (good and bad). All the hair on the back of his head has fallen out, but he is the fuzziest kid on top. Now for the announcement....

Do you have a hard time finding doctors that you trust, and have a good report with ?

Lisa - sometimes it feels like you are really putting it all in the dr's hands. I hate that. If I knew of an expert, that could kick this tumor's butt - I'd fly there in a heartbeat.
But there aren't any guarantees, so I may as well stay here and try to improve the situation and do the best I can.
In general, we have had very good doctors. Occasionally, an inexperienced resident frustrates me, but they have to get that experience somehow.
Is it going to be a contest to see who can do the best job at turning their eyelids insides out? Because I'm really good at that.
