SMART Habit Saturday
Thanks to Lara at the Lazy Organizerfor this motivator. I encourage you to click on the link to the left and participate. There are prizes involved, people.
Dinner was pretty much a wash. It will happen eventually though. I used to shop and plan for two weeks' worth of meals and then actually prepare them. I guess that's one way I'll know that things are getting back tonormal usual - once I get back to that.
I must say I rocked at drinking water this week. Only 2 days that I didn't get all 100 ozs in. I believe I will follow Jenny's lead and take it up a notch to "cutting out soft drinks".
I think I have been surviving on Dr. Pepper these past few months. Yes, I know it's cancer-in-a-can, but you can only get along on 5 hours sleep for so many days before you fall asleep in your dinner (that you didn't personally make, btw). Ty is no longer on IV antibiotics in the wee hours of the morning so I think this is a doable habit for me. Thanks for the inspiration Jenny!
So to sum up:
Drinking water - pretty good
Making dinner - on hold
Medical papers - pretty good
Journal - habit

Good luck this week!
My little sister had all sorts of medical challenges so I can totally relate to things going not quite as planned when something has cropped up.
Have a wonderful long weekend!
Hooray for you! And good luck cutting out the pop, or soda, depending on what you call it.
Way to go with the water! I struggle big time with this. Keep up the good work!
I am impressed immensely with how much water you can guzzle. Keep up the good work!
Good luck with this habit. Drinking more water throughout the day is something I'm working on as well.
I am just loving all this moral support, may it carry me through to next Saturday - fizz-free.
I have to share my secret for the water drinking. I use a straw. I just fill up my 32 ozs cup three times and drink it down.
I guess Lara's site is perfect for me, I must be too lazy to lift the cup to drink.:)
Now, if there was only some other to way to get all that water out! I feel like I'm 9 months pregnant and a baby is tap-dancing on my bladder.
Thanks for stopping by!
I was doing okay and having a sore throat over the weekend actually helped a little as I didn't feel like drinking much of anything because it stung. However, I had a brutal headache yesterday which resulted in my guzzling Coke for a day as I find it helps to get rid of my headaches... I'll try again tomorrow. :)
If you love the fizz factor and bold taste combination of pop/soda, I like to mix carbonated spring water with cranberry juice (1oo% juice blend which cuts back on the sugars a bit). I find I don't drink as much of it as I would pop/soda but it still satisfies the need for fizz and flavour.
