Another update on the boy

His incision is healing very nicely, all 18 inches of it.

His hair has grown back rather thick and curly since chemo.

He even has a mustache - I've softened it out of the picture, but it's clear that we'll be shaving his upper lip soon. Judging by how much he enjoys the trimmers during a haircut, he's probably going to yell at me.

Which pretty much sounds like a moose. That is, if the moose's voice is changing.

Yea! I'm glad he's doing well. Are you caught up on your sleep yet? --Jan

I can tell how thick is hair is!! there are probably lots of people jealous of that!

A mustache! Doesn't it make you feel weird to have your baby growing up?

Y'all are sweet. I like that he is even thinking about smiling in that picture. Last year was pretty much smile-free.

This stage is where moms panic and wish for a 'freeze' button to keep them small forever.

Too bad he's not like a baby so you could shave him while he sleeps. So glad to know he is doing well. 18 inches is a huge incision!

That is a great photo--and amazing how fast he's healing and how quickly his hair is growing.
